Principal's Message

Principal Vetere

Dear Vineyard Families,

Welcome to the 2024/2025 school year! We are so excited to get this year underway and start making wonderful memories and supporting our students in engaging and meaningful learning. I hope you have enjoyed your summer and family time; it truly is so necessary to reset and rejuvenate. My family spent some wonderful, uninterrupted time together and it was so very special to me as they are getting older way too quickly!

We have been busy preparing for our back to school events such as Viking Vision for our incoming 6th and 7th graders (shoutout to the teachers coming back to work early to lead our students in this fun-filled and informative day), schedule pickup for all grades, and our first week back to school. Many of our teachers have been on campus throughout the summer setting their classrooms up, made possible by our amazing custodians who got our campus clean and ready so quickly. We have construction going on as we are adding 4 more classrooms to our campus! We are happily growing and glowing over here at Vineyard.

Each year, our focus and drive is to provide a rigorous, relevant, and engaging learning environment for our students so they thrive, grow, and leave here feeling prepared for high school. While we are doing that, it is also so crucial to provide skills and tools to help them navigate the social atmosphere that is junior high, the changes they will notice, and teach and model acceptable behavior.

I am hoping you’ve been following along with our social media and emails so you already have these dates calendared as necessary:
