Principal's Message
Welcome Back Hermosa Families,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying a restful summer break. As the proud Principal of Hermosa Elementary, I am thrilled to embark on the new 24-25 academic year. As we prepare for another exciting school year, I wanted to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to both returning and new families.
At Hermosa Elementary, we are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in fostering a love for learning through engaging curriculum, dedicated teachers, and ensuring every student is provided with a safe and welcoming environment. This upcoming year promises to be filled with opportunities for growth and achievement. Our faculty and staff have been diligently preparing to ensure that our students receive the highest quality education possible. Whether it’s through innovative classroom instruction, quality enrichment and intervention programs, or socio-emotional supports, we aim to inspire our students to reach their fullest potential.
Our new theme this year is Cruising into Learning! This school year we will be focusing on amping up the rigor with our students as well as revamping our PBIS program to set high expectations for students, not only academically, but also behaviorally. As lifelong learners, we continue to grow each year and enhance our abilities.
Communication between school and home is vital for the success of our students. Throughout the year, we encourage you to stay connected with us through our school website, Instagram, PTA, newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences. Your involvement and support make a significant difference in your child’s education.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. I am excited about the possibilities that this year holds and look forward to partnering with you to ensure a rewarding and fulfilling experience for your family.
Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead!
Warm regards,
Go Huskies!
