Welcome to Alta Loma Elementary's Title 1 Learning Lab! 

We are a General Education intervention lab that provides services to students in the areas of English Language Arts and Math.  Enrollment is based upon students' assessment data, test scores, and teachers' recommendations.  The program provided by the Learning Lab is flexible. The Learning Lab team will be providing structured support using research-based materials in small group instruction. In Language Arts, it provides our K-6 grade students with instruction and/or remediation in the areas of phonemic awareness, phonics, sight word/vocabulary development, comprehension, and fluency instruction. Math lessons focus on fact fluency and skills practice.  Services are provided by a team which consists of Mrs. Collins, our Asst. Principal and Instructional aides Mrs. Daniels, Mrs. Delgado, Mrs. Mayorga, Mrs. Chorn, Mrs. Yalon and Ms. Mickelsen.
