The Alta Loma School District is focused on providing support to our English Language Learners through direct services in the classroom, outside of the classroom, as well as Professional development for teachers and English Language Development Instructional Aides. Professional development, Instructional Coaching, and Support Services for students align with the new ELA/ ELD Framework.
Two blended learning programs are available for qualified students to access both at school and at home. Students are provided an individual log-in by the school site English Language Development Aide, or classroom teacher. Both programs can be accessed from home.
District English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC) consists of community partners who have EL students in the district who meet to represent the interests of their students.
DELAC meetings will be held at the District Support Center 3 times per year. Flyers will be posted on the website.
