ALJH Sports Program

Alta Loma Junior High students have the opportunity to participate in various sports throughout the school year. We are a part of the Baldy View League, comprised of ALJH, Vineyard Junior High, Upland Junior High, Pioneer Junior High, Foothill Knolls STEM Academy, and Grace Yokley Middle School.

5 sports are currently being offered:

• Football (typically begins in late August)

• Volleyball (typically begins in late August)

• Soccer (typically begins in mid-to-late October)

• Basketball (typically begins in late December/early January)

• Track & Cross Country (typically begins in mid-to-late March) 

Announcements are made prior to the start of each season for interest meetings where students can pick up the tentative practice and game schedules and get more information about try outs. Teams play approximately 5 games each season.
